Our Mission
The American system for paying for preventive care has a dirty secret: there isn't one. What exists instead is debt: buy-now-pay-later schemes, high-interest medical credit cards, deferred-interest traps marketed as "0% financing." The same machinery that sells appliances on credit has been handed the job of making world-class health care accessible. It isn't working. It was never designed to.
Debt doesn't just drain bank accounts. Financial stress is one of the most corrosive forces on human health, compounding the very problem it claims to solve. Sending people deeper into household debt as the price of investing in their own health is a fundamental contradiction. And yet the industry keeps adding more of it, with no one stopping to ask whether debt is even the right model.
There has to be a better way... so we built it. Onfire Health is a membership platform grounded in a simple premise; members save toward their care through a recurring subscription, and partner practitioners receive payment over time for delivering it. No banks. No creditors. No compounding interest. No promotional gimmicks. Just people making a commitment to their health, and practices that get paid to honor it.
